My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.
As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us “Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he’ll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super.”
On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed an extremely well-dressed and exotic young woman hadn’t moved a muscle. “Perhaps you didn’t hear me over those big brute engines but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground.”
She calmly turned her head and said, “In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one.”
To which the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat, “Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I’m called a Queen, so I outrank you. Tray up, Bitch.”
My god, why do I never witness anything quite so amazing and wonderful?
PRICELESS.
AHAHAHAHAHA YES

Does anyone else think this is a bizarro question?! One of my earliest music memories is the music video for Jane’s Addiction’s “Been Caught Stealing” (no idea why) and listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees and Bauhaus (this would’ve been when I was 2, maybe even a baby!) and hearing my mom and dad’s mixtapes in the car. I can’t ever remember *not* loving music!Mine is Michelle Branch.
Music has always been a big part of my life. The earliest musician I can remember listening to over and over is Celine Dion. Don’t laugh at me!
i hate to say it but good charlotte lmao im talking there stuff from like 2001
Britney Spears. Not even kidding. Don’t laugh.
The Jonas Brothers. When they first started out. :3
Blink-182 heeeeeee ^^
Michael Jackson.
It has to be a toss-up between ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), Beethoven or the Beatles. That’s all I remember listening to up until at least middle school, mostly because that’s all my family would listen to. Heh.
julie andrews! ^_^ the sound of music and mary poppins were very influential to me
I can’t either. I have a hard time believing that I (or pretty much anyone really) wasn’t simply born loving music. I’m just not sure when I actually noticed.
I think the first kinds of music I ever remember liking and singing along to mainly consisted of oldies, Disney movies, and The Wizard of Oz. Plus my mom frequently exposed me to her obsession with James Taylor.

How is it that I only found out last week that a movie about 1960s British pirate radio had been made? I may very well have to check this out at some point.

well aside from the obvious - phantasmagoria - mine is quintessence/quintessential.
euphoric/euphoria, with tenacious/tenacity as a very close second. There’s probably many more I could think of, but I guess these are the ones I really like right now.
